The subscription, the trial, and what a listing is.
The list
NYC Insider List publishes public NYC event listings and a separate happy-hour list. Listings can change. Dates, prices, venues, sold-out status, and outbound links can be wrong or out of date. Check the organizer before you go.
Price and trial
The paid plan is $2.99 per month, billed by Stripe. The trial is 10 days, one per email, and it does not ask for a card. Full access means an active Stripe subscription or a trial that has not ended. Access is computed from that record.
What stays public
Events more than 7 days out are locked on the lists unless you have full access. Events inside that window stay public. The lock is not only on the main events page. Search results use the same lock.
Google Calendar
The calendar add is a Google Calendar ACL grant of the public NYC category calendars into the Google account on a paid subscription. There is no personal ICS feed and no email-based calendar subscribe. The trial does not grant those calendars.
Canceling
Subscribers cancel from the account page. That button opens Stripe's billing portal, and cancellation is at the end of the period already paid. Access stays until Stripe reports the subscription deleted. Then the site marks the account canceled. A trial ends on its own. There is nothing to cancel until a paid subscription exists.
